(December 14, 2009) – System Sensor offers a new Webinar, "Carbon Monoxide Detection: Code and Legislation Updates," covering the latest updates on carbon monoxide detection state legislation and regulatory mandates. Carbon monoxide detection revisions significantly change device installation and monitoring requirements and are most relevant to alarm dealers, central station operators, AHJs, and design engineers.
The first live session, which is scheduled for December 17 at multiple times will be presented by Richard Roberts, Industry Affairs Manager for System Sensor and Honeywell Life Safety. Roberts will discuss recent International Code Council (ICC) actions for the 2012 edition of the International Fire Code (IFC) and International Residential Code (IRC). He will also recap many of the key changes to the 2009 edition of NFPA 720.
